As a Senior Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for actively managing and growing a portfolio of accounts through client acquisition, cross-sell and referrals. You will be responsible for building and fostering commercial broker relationships, as a key referral partner. It is expected that you have a clear understanding of the performance history, and that you understand future plans of each client, before advice is given. You will collaborate with product partners and other stakeholders to ensure an effective and value adding strategy is identified for the client whilst minimizing all potential risks to ANZ.

About You

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Tertiary Qualification in a business related field

  • Strong knowledge of financial statements and credit assessment skills incorporation (background of sound business lending)

  • Demonstrated understanding of small-medium business needs and expectations

  • Proven experience in building and developing commercial broker relationships to originate new business

  • Demonstrated people management and coaching skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills, computer literacy and demonstrated excellent customer focus

  • Ability to work responsibly; work with a team with proven analytical, negotiation and problem solving skills
