The End User Services team in the ICT Operations Branch provides a wide range of technical and administrative support to the department's users as well as our Senior Executive and Ministers' offices.
The department is also undergoing a "Future Way of Working program" which aims to support users to work more collaboratively enabled through the issue of laptops. Team members play an important part in the program from the roll out and issue of devices, ongoing support as well procurement of major contracts and day to day administration of the branch.
We are looking for self-starters who can think on their feet and work well as part of an inclusive team.
Often these roles are required to deal directly with Senior Stakeholders including Ministerial Staff, and SES. Candidates must be able to adjust their communication and conduct themselves professionally at all times.
Successful applicants will provide quality customer service to users of Information and Communications Technology (ICT).
Experience with some or all of the following is highly desirable:
Interstate travel and on call may be required from time to time.
To be eligible for employment in the APS and the department, applicants must be Australian Citizens.
These positions require a Baseline security clearance. The successful applicants will be required to obtain and maintain a clearance at this level.
This recruitment process is being used to fill several non-ongoing APS Level 5 or APS Level 6 positions. A merit pool may be established to fill future ongoing and non-ongoing APS Level 5 and APS Level 6 vacancies should they become available within 12 months form the date advertised.
