The Insurance Integrity Analyst position is an integral part of the Insurance & Employer Services team that will provide specialist insurance knowledge and analytical skills to ensure we meet the integrity of our insurance offering for our members.

As an Insurance Integrity Analyst, you will contribute to a superior end to end customer experience through the delivery of the insurance offering within CFS products.

This role is within Colonial First State (CFS) and sits within the CFS Operations Division. CFS Operations is the largest division in CFS and is responsible for looking after the day to day interactions we have with our clients, advisers, investors and employers.

Your team sits within the Insurance & Employer Services team and will be responsible for the review and accuracy of member’s insurance data as well as ensuring regular checks are performed by Client Operations in line with our business obligations on insurance integrity.

We do this by:

A key responsibility for this role is to support and coordinate the execution of customer insurance reviews in line with the CFS framework. This includes:

  • Design and document process & procedures & potential risk controls.
  • Analysing monthly insurance premium data to find anomalies.
  • Determining population identification, data collection and associated assurance testing requirements.
  • Attaining relevant data for analysis to identify inaccuracies with how insurance is operating or calculating for members.
  • Issue investigation and validation.
  • Analyse data/information in respect to the various steps in the insurance offering.
  • Develop test criteria in order to test the assessment and compensation models.
  • Undergo case manage activity/analysis as required.
  • Consider customer impacts and support the creation of relevant customer engagement strategy and collateral.

This role also plays a pivotal function in supporting the Senior Manager, Insurance Operations with communications, stakeholder engagement, and analysis in order to support customer activity in line with the CFS guidelines and to identify and engage with stakeholders across the Group as required.

We’re interested in hearing from people who have:

  • Good financial services and insurance industry experience.
  • Strong business and/or data analysis experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and other areas of the business
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to identify procedural inefficiencies and recommend process improvements
  • Eye for detail and willingness to tackle issues beyond ‘own’ role as required
  • Ability to prioritise and address multiple conflicting requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification will be highly valued as is RG146 Compliance

A sound knowledge of and experience with:

  • MS Office Tools (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
  • Data analysis, extraction and manipulation
  • Customer Registry Operations Systems
