The Role
We are looking for an experienced Geospatial Coordinator that will operationally support the business through data quality and integration analysis within the Yarra Valley Water Asset Management Systems (GIS & Maximo). In this role you will liaise heavily with the business to develop and project manage asset management strategies and data quality improvements. You will be responsible for developing and implementing industry leading standards for managing asset data ensuring the standards are met and maintained, as well as proactively engaging with business stakeholders (internal & external) on the utilization of asset information systems and data to ensure optimum outcomes.

Focus areas of the role include;

  • Business Engagement; identify and implement holistic solutions
  • Data Governance; Ensure all asset related information meets current industry best practice standards and is fit for purpose
  • Documentation; work with system specialists to document and implement solution enhancements
  • Support; providing general support to the business.

Skills and Experience

  • A tertiary qualification in Asset Management, IT, Science, Engineering or a similar discipline
  • Oracle or SQL Database skills - Experience with management, manipulation, enhancement and design
  • Understanding of IT architecture and use in solution and interface design and operations
  • Detailed understanding with Asset Management and Spatial Applications, specifically the capabilities and functionality
  • High level of GIS (Hexagon) and Maximo systems knowledge
  • Familiarity with SAFE Agile methodology well regarded.
