Project manager - mobility

Your new company
With multiple projects underway, The City of Gold Coast is currently embarking on an enterprise wide digital implementation program or work across all key technology areas. Due to the size and scope of the program they have an immediate requirement for an experienced Project Manager to manage a workforce mobility project.

Your new role
Working with key stakeholders, you will be responsible for managing and planning, and implementation of enterprise mobility services that align to the business needs of the organisation. This role will see you procure a consulting/SME organisation to develop a Mobility Roadmap aligned to the City’s Mobility Strategic Plan and Mobility Solution Delivery Framework with an end goal of enabling the City’s workforce to work from anywhere, at any time.

What you'll need to succeed
To ensure your success you will have demonstrated experience in a similar position where you have implemented a workforce mobility roadmap and have extensive experience in design, development, deployment, management and co-ordination including the below:

  • Strong vendor management skills
  • Ability to manage a number of project streams including business analysis/engagement, technical activities and ongoing support/sourcing
  • Setup the defined project governance structures
  • co-ordinate acquisition and resourcing process for project resources (e.g. ICT hardware, software and services)
  • Manage all aspects of the project(s) including program scope, risks, integration, issues and financial management
  • Ensure alignment and compliance with the defined project management methodologies, governance structures, processes , tools reporting regimes and approaches
