About the opportunity:

We are currently seeking an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Project Assistant to join us for a part time 3 month Fixed Term Contract role working 2.5 days per week.

This is a key support role in the Applications Team at Bupa Australia where you will be responsible for managing team collaboration tools, co-ordinating team activities, and supporting team members.

This involves being a reliable and efficient 'go to' person for administrative support, in order to establish and maintain an efficient and organised working environment for the direct and wider teams. This role has lots of variety and excellent opportunities to develop and build on existing administration skills, particularly with application development tools.

Accountabilities/ Responsibilities:

  • Administer and support multiple collaboration tools in use in the Application Lifecycle at Bupa Australia, including but not limited to Confluence, Slack and Visual Studio Team Services.
  • Providing logistical support to the wider team including coordination of team events, scheduling meetings, room bookings, catering requests and room set up
  • Diary management, appointment scheduling and co-ordination
  • Attending team meetings and minute taking.
  • Prepare Power Point presentations, Excel spread sheets and documents
  • Identify opportunities for continual improvement, efficiencies and automation

Ideal experience you will bring to the role:

  • Sound experience in providing administrative support
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in diary management
  • Experience in using MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
  • The ability to problem solve and prioritise effectively
  • Experience in managing collaboration tools is desired
