We are looking for a motivated Registered Nurse (RPN2) with an ability to work independently and as part of a team performing key working roles in a community mental health residential setting.
The Community Recovery Program (CRP) is a mental health initiative developed in partnership with Mind Australia and Forensicare and provides 24/7 residential support to consumers with mental health needs. CRP offers 22 purpose built, self-contained apartments and a comprehensive program of clinical treatment, recovery focused interventions, groups and community outreach.
Staff working at CRP embrace a recovery approach to their work and draw on the resources people with a lived experience of mental illness have to offer. The position offered, is a permanent part time RPN2 key working role. Applicants will be required to demonstrate a good understanding of the recovery philosophy and work closely with residents in establishing recovery goals, developing on personal strengths through skills training, education and individual and group activities.
