quality coordinator - consumer experience and accreditation

Ongoing, Part Time negotiable, 64.0 hours per fortnight

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced health professional to join our Quality team and play a key role in facilitating a culture and capability of continuous improvement across the organisation. If you are passionate about consumer experience and have excellent communication and problem solving skills, then we would like to hear from you.

In this role you will liaise daily with the Quality and Risk Manager and the Patient Liaison Officer and will coordinate inquiries into issues and feedback raised by patients. This role will focus on providing safe, effective person-centred care, providing support for accreditation readiness and compliance and encouraging and adopting ‘a beyond compliance' culture to support continuous improvement and innovation.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Minimum 5 years clinical experience as a qualified Health professional
  • Experience working with consumers or vulnerable populations
  • Well-developed understanding of and experience in methodology required to continuously improve the patient experience
  • A good knowledge of healthcare systems and processes
  • High level interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients, families, volunteers, staff and other key stakeholders.
  • Excellent consumer service skills with a professional, person-centred manner and proven capacity to consider activities, decisions and outcomes from the perspective of the consumer or end-user.
  • Demonstrated excellent, negotiation, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Have experience in complaint resolution
  • Experience in planning and implementing preparation for Accreditation including interpreting standards, determining and understanding gaps, evidence files, educating staff and coordinating meetings.
