Executive support officer (logan hospital expansion)

The Logan Hospital Expansion Program is looking for an experienced Executive Support Officer to provide high level effective and confidential executive support, cooperating with and advising/assisting staff working across the Logan Hospital Expansion Project (LHEP) and the broader Metro South Hospital and Health Service as required to ensure objectives are achieved.

About the Role

Responsible for providing high level effective and confidential executive support, cooperating with and advising/assisting staff working across the Logan Hospital Expansion Project (LHEP) and the broader Metro South Hospital and Health Service as required to ensure objectives are achieved.  

  • Provide high level confidential executive support to the Senior Program Director and Program Management Office (PMO).  This includes high-level diary management, coordination of high-level meetings, visitations, workshops, forums and Health Service-wide events, as well as the coordination of PMO responses to hospital and health service (HHS) requests for Ministerial and Director-General correspondence.
  • Delegate and coordinate all PMO correspondence to ensure compliance with Metro South Health policy and completion of responses within designated and competing timeframes. This includes urgent enquiries.
  • Ensure effective tracking systems are used to enable all correspondence coming into and out of the PMO is recorded and retrievable and timeframes are met.
  • Provide clerical and administrative services to a high standard including the use of Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Visio), electronic databases, record and diary management systems.
  • Deal professionally with highly sensitive and confidential issues in the context of close working relationships with clients such as the HHS Executive Services, CEO and COO's Office, Facility Executive Services and Senior Executive members.

The Logan Hospital Expansion will enhance our clinical services and improve facilities for the Logan community in one of the fastest growing regions in the state.

It will increase healthcare services available in Logan, which means the local community can be treated nearer to their home.
