Fixed Asset Accountant
ElectraNet helps power South Australia and the economy. We own, build and operate the high voltage transmission network that delivers electricity from generators to distributors, enabling retailers to supply power to homes, businesses and communities. We are currently looking for a Fixed Asset Accountant. This role owns the responsibility ensuring our assets are capitalised in a timely and accurate manner, as well as driving adherence to all policies, procedures and accounting standards. The role will also provide advice to the business around what meets the definition of capital versus expense, on an as needs basis. This individual will spend a considerable amount of time building up strong working relationships with both Network Services and Asset Management divisions and become a trusted advisor to the business on all things Capital related.

You will have demonstrated experience and tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance and be CA/CPA qualified. Your technical skills in analysis will be coupled with strong interpersonal and communication skills which are crucial to effective delivery. Experience using SAP specifically with fixed assets and projects will be held in high regard.
We are looking for someone who thrives on service delivery, building effective relationships across the business and enjoys being part of a team.
Understanding of major infrastructure and project delivery and exposure to a regulated environment will be advantageous.
