Senior occupational therapist

About The Role:

  • Residential and Community care
  • Caseload - Aged Care
  • Deliver high quality allied health services
  • Conduct assessments, review and recommend treatment plans for patients
  • Assist with the Fit for Work program
  • Mentor, coach and supervise allied health staff including completion of all relevant documentation
  • Responsible for the triage and delegation of allied health requirements requirements across both residential care and home care
  • Build a close working relationship with the key staff across residential and home care with effectively liaising with management staff throughout the organisation
  • Manage and delegate allied health caseload, home care requirements and Work Fit case load

Over all you will apply your knowledge and experience to deliver high quality health services in line with contemporary professional standards of practise within my clients governance framework. Ensure quality health outcomes are achieved, specialising in the management of musculoskeletal pain and restoring and maintaining function with a focus on mobility and balance.

About You:

  • Bachelors or Masters in Occupational Therapy
  • Must have FULL AHPRA registration
  • Valid NPC, Senior First Aid and CPR
  • Drivers License
  • Must have experience in Aged Care and Leadership
  • Experience in home mods and equipment prescription desired
  • Passionate about improving the quality of life in the elderly
