The role:

Terri Scheer Insurance is a specialist provider of landlord insurance products for owners of residential rental properties. We are looking for a vibrant, passionate and customer focused individual to fill a 6 month full time maternity leave contract in our Claims team. We are a driven team that has a strong focus on delivering outstanding customer service.

We are based in Adelaide CBD, have a fantastic office environment and will provide in-depth on the job training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adopt a customer focus in the delivery of internal/external Services
  • Build, enhance and maintain quality relationships with all internal and external customers
  • Review and process claims including liaising closely with customers
  • Assess loss and determine claims settlement including declinature within defined authority levels and legislated time frames
  • Self-manage and monitor your individual workload to ensure all claims are processed within Code of Practice guidelines and internal service standards

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience and passion for delivering brilliant customer service
  • Knowledge & understanding of the insurance market or property management experience would be beneficial
  • Ability to use initiative and possess strong problem-solving skills
  • To be resilient and have an ability to positively manage difficult situations
  • Confidence to make and articulate decisions and deliver on promises
  • Professional written and communication skills required
  • Ability to lead by example, self-motivate, take responsibility and be accountable
  • A high level of attention to detail
