We have a new opportunity for an experienced internal sales or customer service specialist to join our team in Mulgrave, Melbourne. This key role will provide high quality customer service, administration, sales and quotations in line with our regional and global product business strategies to support new and existing customers.


Key responsibilities

  • Providing a high quality and responsive service to existing and potential new customers 
  • Preparing detailed written quotations within the SAP system
  • Assist with product enquiries, quotations for goods and services, order processing, order placement, factory expediting, customer communication on order status, complaints, errors, returns and other queries
  • To work closely and collaboratively with external sales, the service department and area account managers, to resolve client issues (technical and commercial) via phone, email or face to face discussions.
  • Loading new product, spare parts and production orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits, follow up to ensure resolution.

Skills, Qualifications and Behaviours:

  • Strong SAP knowledge and experience (Essential)
  • Top notch phone manners, professional emails and customer service approach
  • Flexible but solutions focused to meet the customers’ needs
  • An ability to work within a busy environment, whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Parts interpreter type experience and familiarity with reading/interpreting assembly draws and bills of materials (e.g industrial parts and components)
  • An excellent and supportive team player
