Immediate start for a Statutory Planner in Local Government

This local council is focused on creating sustainable growth within its boundaries. Their planning division monitors the social, economical and sustainable nature of the area.
Your new role
The Statutory Planning department require an experienced Senior Statutory Planner to join their established team. You will be responsible for providing advice on development applications, drawing on your expert knowledge of WA planning legislation to assist and advise customers on their land use planning queries. Liaising with external stakeholders you will be relationship focused with the demonstrated leadership ability.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you are required to have a Tertiary Qualification in Planning and 2 years statutory planning experience. You will also have excellent communication skills, demonstrated ability to investigate data, process highly complex development applications, some brown-fill and revitalization experience, ability to work as part of a team and develop client relationships. You will need to be highly professional, reliable and flexible and have strong leadership and mentoring experience.
