This is a full-time permanent Dispensary Assistant position that will have you working across all the professional services that this modern pharmacy offers including aged-care whilst also being involved across the dispensary operations offering diversity within the workplace.
The position offers full time work but we expect you to be available on some Saturdays or Sundays (negotiable)

Within this role, perform the duties described below to support the supply, sale and quality use of medicines and pharmacy products in accordance with the law:
Primary for this position (Your primary responsibilities)
-Be responsible for the Dispense 'Runs' for aged care and community customers
-Support the pharmacist(s) in the dispensing of regular prescription medicines.
-Keeping track for owing prescriptions in the dispensary system and following up with doctors for owing reminders
-Resolving account queries related to aged care and community accounts
-Accept and deal with or refer complaints.
-We will be able to train you on all of the above given you have the right attitude and skills required.
Secondary for this position
-Assist in dispensary functions as required.
-Assist in the provision of dose administration aids
-Maintain sound product knowledge, including retail and non-prescription medicines.
-Ensure PBS and other Medicare claims are prepared.
-Maintain dispensary stock, including stock rotation, ordering and expiry-date checking.
-Be available to other staff members, where requested, to assist in customer service.
-Dispensary and Computer housekeeping
-Maintain dress standards and other policies in accordance with the pharmacy's policies and procedures.
-Provide customers with high level customer service.
-Maintain sound knowledge of PBS as it relates to the role
-Be aware of pharmacy services available.
-Be aware of in store promotions and generation of interest among customers.
-Assist at dispensary front counter when required.
-Attend meetings with staff and management as required.
