The Team:

Fintech is the technology team that underpins all Payments Platforms for Coles and Coles’ customers (Officeworks, Kmart, Target, etc.), by servicing these businesses. There is a need to ensure governance activities that supports and underpins this is managed in accordance with the newly developed governance framework.

The Design and Demand Solutions Team is the front door for FinTech.

 The Role:

The Solutions Lead will lead a team of consultants and analysts in the delivery of technology solutions in line with payments services business, customer, technology and architecture strategies.

You will manage the team of technology professionals who are responsible for high level integrated solutions design and estimates in order to meet the demands of payments services customers.

The team are technical people generally coming from Fintech backgrounds and proficient in requirements analysis and provision of Payment Services solutions.

Key to the role will be to drive and support the cloud-based transformation, build managed service application-based development capability, and develop, negotiate, and communicate the Payments Technology Strategy.

You will also contribute to the strategic direction of the Payments portfolio landscape and retain design oversight of several Payments Projects and Programs.

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • led a team of Solution Designers and Analysts in payments technology
  • developed technology strategy in line with business roadmaps
  • a deep understanding of building technology strategy and solutions
  • knowledge of data security and privacy (PCI-DSS, PI Security)
  • understanding of EFT, Online Payments, Terminal management are strongly desired
  • we expect the candidate will have previous experience as a senior technical/systems/solutions designer/analyst, and deep knowledge and experience as a technical/systems/solutions designer/analyst
