Part -Time Digital Director For Media Agency

My client, a start-up independent media agency, with fabulous accounts, is looking for a senior Digital Director for a 3-6 month contract initially, with a view to a full-time role.  This is a flexible (+- 20 hours a week role) but does require onsite client meetings in South Yarra every Tuesday morning.  Whilst this is a senior role, you will also be required to be hands on and implement campaigns.

You will need to lead the entire digital strategy across all channels, working with the partner digital agency and lead the transition into the agency over the next 3-6 months.  You will be responsible for the strategy, planning and buying of search and social, working alongside internal creative teams who will produce the (creative) campaigns.

(Currently the partner digital agency is used to lead the digital offering for display, audio and video through programmatic campaigns and publisher partnerships.  However, this resource will also be brought internally over the next couple of months.)


Lead entire digital strategy across all channels, plan and execute Social and Search campaigns

Provide digital thought leaderships, best practice and creative direction where necessary for all

campaigns within the agency and also assist with any new business pitches as required.

Plan and execute performance led campaigns for clients, ultimately driving improved business results.

Work alongside the sister creative agency to produce the best results for digital campaigns.

Attend all client and internal meetings

Have a strong POV based on experience and understanding of each channels’ role within the campaign ecosystem.
