The Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to support a key client account in Brisbane, QLD. You will assist in the management of projects to ensure that works and services are completed within specific project time, quality and budget.

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Manage project costs including cash flow, invoicing and minimisation of defect liability period costs;
  • Manage all stages of project delivery including scope definition, production of scope of works, design, tender, construction, and commissioning, handover and defects liability period;
  • Ensure project specific and statutory requirements and met;
  • Contract administration of project contractors, consultants and suppliers;
  • Establish and maintain the project program including the critical path;
  • Ensure all WH&S procedures and practices are followed at all times;
  • Safety management including the conduct and documenting of facilities inspections, risk assessment of tasks and safe work method statements where required;
  • Apply risk and opportunity management to all key decisions for the project.

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong demonstrated experience in the delivery of projects or Capex programs;
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a project manager;
  • Strong demonstrated experience in stakeholder management;
  • Strong business acumen with demonstrated capability in the contract management of consultants, contractors and suppliers;
  • Experience in the construction or building industry is preferred, particularly in HVAC or Electrical;
  • Proven capability of working within an environment using QA, WH&S and environmental systems;
  • Able to respond quickly to change and adopt a flexible/ innovative approach to problems and opportunities;
  • Proficient in applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and MS Project;
  • Able to manage multiple deadlines.
