The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Support Officer. Reporting to the Team Leader, Business Operations, the Executive Support Officer (ESO) is responsible for the delivery of a high quality, professional, confidential and responsive executive support service to a Director and their Division. For the Director, the ESO conducts research, is responsible for email and diary management and coordinating briefing papers. For the Division, the ESO will be responsible for delivering a range of high-level customer-focused administrative support services.

Applications are sought from experienced Executive Support Officers with demonstrated experience in:

  • providing a range of efficient administration and executive support services, including telephone screening, diary and email management, preparing meeting agendas and papers and travel coordination
  • prioritising and undertaking timely projects, research and analysis including collating data
  • establishing, maintaining and reviewing office and administrative processes and systems and positively contributing to improvement practices
  • building and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external and
  • working well under pressure while remaining calm and focused on the task at hand

Special Conditions:

  • Certificate level qualification in a field relevant to the position, and/or substantial relevant professional experience.
  • May be required to obtain a satisfactory Department of Human Services Criminal History Check or National Police Check prior to employment. A renewal will be required every 3 years
  • Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.

Remuneration:

ASO4, $72,135- $75,616
