Aveo is seeking a highly motivated Activities and Community Engagement Coordinator to join our team at Aveo The Clayfield in Albion, QLD.

About Aveo The Clayfield & The Role:

  • Part-time position - working mainly across a five day working week and a few hours if needed on weekend events
  • Aim is to build integration between the Administration and Residents Committee
  • Assisting with Administration, Resident Activities and Events and promoting Aveo The Clayfield
  • Well maintained facilities - function room with city and river views, heated indoor pool, gymnasium, BBQ area, restaurant, café, vegetable and herb garden and plenty more!
  • Aveo The Clayfield's history dates back to 1875 - featuring three heritage buildings
  • Close to restaurants, Crosby and Oriel Park and 15 minute drive to Brisbane CBD

Reporting to the Community Manager this role will involve a close relationship with Administration and Village Residents Committee.
You will also be working very closely with Village Operations and Sales with the aim to introduce new Activities and Events that Residents will enjoy, while promoting Aveo The Clayfield to the broader external community.

About You:

  • Genuine interest in the Retirement Sector
  • Experience in Office Administration
  • Previous Leisure & Lifestyle experienced preferred
  • Experience within the Communications, Public relation, or sales and marketing environment an advantage
  • Retirement Industry experience preferable
  • High level written and verbal communication
  • High level negotiation ability
  • Strong IT ability and experience with CRM systems preferred
