RF Engineer


We are looking for experienced Communication Engineers in Industrial Radio Communications. You will have extensive experience in the delivery of industrialised communications solutions predominately for the resources industry. 

Your role will be to engineer, design, coordinate and project manage the delivery of industrialised communications solutions working on a project in the resources industry. You will also act as the subject matter expert providing technical advisory throughout implementation of the solutions. 


As a RF Engineer you will have knowledge of current communications technologies and design implementation practices within the resource industry. You will also have experience in core switching and routing, voice networks, server hardware configuration, Wifi design/architecture, firewalls and network security and virtualised networking. Successful candidates will have experience in; 

  • LTE network architecture design and optimisation
  • LTE RAN design and optimisation
  • LTE Core knowledge and testing experience (Nokia and Cisco)
  • Meshed WiFi network design, specification and testing
  • Analysis and report generation for site Wifi and LTE survey data
  • WIFI and LTE RF coverage analysis and planning, network optimization and Performance Monitoring
  • Optimising the performance of existing WiFi networks
  • Proficiency in microwave link design and testing
  • Design and documentation of RF support infrastructure such masts, towers, DC power systems, shelters, comms trailers, earthing etc.
  • Project Management of Sub-Contractors and Equipment suppliers
  • Producing Scope of Work and Specification documentation
