Position Information

Casula High School is a coeducational, comprehensive educational setting that currently has 950 students enrolled, including 4% Aboriginal students and 60% students from a non-English speaking background. The school has a Special Education Unit with 4 classes IM , IO and AU. The staff and parent groups at the school have a deep commitment to the school and the growth, wellbeing and learning of all students. Student motivation and achievement are enhanced through excellent quality teaching and learning programs, welfare structures and support programs that enhance the intellectual, creative, leadership, social and physical skills of students. Selection Criteria

  • Approval to teach Economics and Business Studies

  • Approval and/or willingness to teach History and Geography 7-10

  • Ability to develop innovative and future-focused learning programs that inspires teaching and learning in HSIE

  • High level communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to work in a team environment and support whole school programs

    An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the
