Employment Advisory Lawyer


Our Client:
 
An independent Australian law firm with over 630 staff across their offices nationally. Experienced in a broad range of employment matters, the Employment Advisory team keeps ahead of changes in the legal and commercial world.
 
The Role:
 
You will be advising clients on the full suite of employment matters including, but not limited to:

  • contractual and legislative rights and obligations
  • employment disputes and litigation
  • discrimination and termination claims
  • equal opportunity
  • employee incentive schemes and executive remuneration
You will receive excellent mentoring and a high level of responsibility and clear direction for career progression.
 
About you:
 
You will ideally have at least 3 years' post admission experience as an Employment Advisory Lawyer with in-depth experience across a broad range of employment matters, including advising on employment agreements, unfair dismissals, equal opportunity and complex workplace issues.

You will be excited to be involved in matters advising on executive remuneration and employee incentive schemes. This provides a brilliant breadth of work and will see you working outside the traditional boundaries of employment law and crossing into corporate, tax and other practice areas to provide your clients with holistic solutions.
 
Experience from an employer perspective is essential. You need strong drafting skills, interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to work as part of a close-knit team with like-minded individuals.
