Year 2 Teacher - St Francis Xavier Primary School, GOODNA


We are seeking an enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher. You will be able to work and plan collaboratively with other teachers and support staff, in both planning and teacher lesson feedback; be proficient in the use of technology to improve student learning; be able to implement Visible Learning, Formative Assessment strategies and the various BCE ELT strategies and be committed to ongoing professional learning and development. As this position requires classroom teaching of Religious Education, applicants must be Catholic.

St Francis Xavier is a Catholic, co-educational P-6 school of approximately 535 students situated in the City of Ipswich, adjacent to the Ipswich Motorway. The school has been in existence for more than 100 years, having been established in 1910.

To be successful in this role you will: 

  • have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;
  • hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers; and
  • be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
