The Customer Strategy and Technology Division leads the development of long-term, multi-modal strategies, plans and policies for the Transport Cluster. We set the future direction and lead the state-wide alignment and enablement of end-to-end, integrated, customer and community experiences and outcomes.

The opportunity
Right now, we have an exceptional opportunity for a talented Program Manager to lead the Ticketing Network Growth Program; planning and delivering new capabilities and the realisation of their benefits. This includes end to end management of the defined program deliverables including, reporting, scheduling, risk and issues management, stakeholders management and communication.
Reporting to the Ticketing Project Delivery Manager this role is critical in directing projects and mobilising and motivating project teams within the Program to ensure successful delivery and achievment of objectives and work outcomes.

What you will be involved in
  • Leading and establishing program direction, identifying interdependencies, communicating program requirements, tracking progress, making decisions, identifying and mitigating risks and resolving conflicts and issues.
  • Working with project managers and various teams to gain support, resolve conflicts, and direct other individual program team members.
  • Employ long strategic-visioning and planning to align program goals and benefits with the long-term goals of TfNSW ensuring alignment of the individual project management plans with the program goals and benefits.
About You
You are a consultative and pragmatic leader of people and results. A commercial and strategic Program Manager, you are comfortable with ambiguity, having the ability to visualise the bigger picture and understand the interaction of all its moving parts. You demonstrate stakeholder engagement expertise, decisiveness and drive to get things done. Ideally you have experience in a ticketing and payment context and have a strong grasp of working in a fast paced installation environment.

Essential requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in program management in complex environments
  • Excellent commercial management skills and experience managing vendors
  • PgMP accreditation/Prince2/PMP/AIPM accreditation
