The Facility

This is a Tertiary and level 3 RACP Teaching Hospital with just under 400 beds and around 1,700 staff. The hospital services a population of 200,000 in a catchment area including urban communities, regional hospitals and remote Aboriginal communities.  The hospital is affiliated with Flinders University with an onsite Medical School. It is also closely linked with the Menzies School of Health Research and the National Critical Care and Trauma Response Centre.  There is also the option of working a joint or fractional appointment at the co-located 100 bed Private Hospital. This type of appointment is encouraged and supported and can significantly increase your earning potential.

The Position

To work as a Consultant Medical Oncologist mainly in the public hospital but with plenty of scope to work in private practice at the co-located private facility.
