About the role: Reporting to the Manager – HSE Systems, this role is responsible for working with the systems team to ensure all management system documentation and communications are user focused and will ensure a consistent approach to document creation and development across the organisation. What the role will offer:
  • Ensure management system documentation is current, easy to read and user focussed
  • Ensure a consistent approach to document creation and development e.g. standard templates and consistent messaging and language
  • Work with stakeholders to understand their documentation requirements
  • Use a variety of media forms to drive innovative communication strategies
  • Support and coach team members on writing skill requirements and presentations
  • Assist team as required in writing e.g. board and executive papers
Key skills and experience:
  • Proven working experience in writing of technical documentation
  • Ability to deliver high quality documentation with attention to detail
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
  • Excellent written skills in English and highly developed verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability in developing and maintaining successful business relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Basic familiarity with webpage development
  • Degree level qualification in OSH, Computer Science, Engineering or a relevant field will be highly regarded
