About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Administration and Training Coordinator to join our WA Rail Team. The primary purpose of this position is to support operations by planning, organising and implementing administrative systems across the Project. This role will operate on a FIFO roster to a Pilbara-based Rail Project.

Responsibilities of the role include (but are by no means limited to);
  • Work with management to establish project site administrative functions.
  • Act as main point of contact for site enquiries and direct queries to the relevant department.
  • Attend meetings and accurately record minutes and distribute to relevant parties.
  • Arrange meetings as requested by the construction team.
  • Coordinate attendance records with line managers.
  • Work with and assist the administration team when required.
  • Flight and accommodation bookings and reconciliations.
  • Manage and assist with onboarding and mobilisation of project staff and workforce.
  • Liaison with HR to assist with HR related project issues and questions.
  • Manage and maintain rostering and staff movement throughout the project.
To be successful in this key role, you must have;
  • Higher School Certificate (HSC)
  • Certificate II, III, or IV in Business Administration (Desirable)
  • 5 years’ experience in an office environment
  • Previous experience in a FIFO role preferable
  • Experience supervising and managing a team
  • Knowledge of accounting, data and administrative management practices.
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of relevant software such as Microsoft Office Suite
