The Location:

The Facility:

Operated by Queensland Health and located within 5kms of the city centre, our client is the largest major public referral hospital in Central Queensland. This hospital is a 300+ bed facility offering a wide range of medical services to a population in excess of 250,000 people.

Specialist Medical Services include Emergency Medicine, General Medicine, Cardiology, Renal Medicine, Palliative Care, Cancer Care Unit, Psychiatry, Rehabilitation, Geriatric Medicine, Paediatrics, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Urology, ENT, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Intensive Care and Anaesthetics and a range of clinical services provided on a visiting basis from tertiary hospitals in Queensland.

The Intensive Care Unit is a newly developed state-of-the-art facility with a 14-bed capacity and provides Intensive Care Services for the local City and the district. As a regional facility the Department provides care to a mix of adult and paediatric patients with up to 700 presentations a year, including near 100 paediatric admissions per year.

The Role:

As a Consultant Paediatrician you will provide specialist Paediatric inpatient and outpatient services. You will have fantastic experience as a practising Paediatrician as well as excellent acute paediatric skills, communication, and relationship building skills. The Requirements:

To apply you must hold the FRACP or if an International Medical Graduate, have been assessed by the college RACP and deemed Comparable.
