The Opportunity

We're currently recruiting for a passionate Engineering Recruitment Consultant, who will facilitate a warm desk that we would like to grow.

This warm desk of accounts that you inherit have traded with our business during the last 12 months. This role involves keeping these clients warm and growing their business with us, through our multiple service offerings.

In addition to this, you will continue to grow the desk through your outbound sales activities. Mostly communicated over the phone, your territory reach will be Australia wide.

This is not a 360 role - you will enjoy the benefits of our team of specialists in working collaboratively on your campaigns. These teams include our advertising, shortlisting and marketing experts.

Our Specialist Teams are also here to support you in your sales journey by joining you on calls with potential clients, offering expertise and insights into our offering, and bringing to light the advantages of working with EO.

We won’t lie - it’s a tough gig and it’s not for everyone. That being said, if you’ve got the drive to build a customer base of your own, growing an already established desk and are experienced in recruiting to the Engineering sector, this could be just the role for you. 

Who will thrive in this role?

  • Someone who has experience in Engineering recruitment;
  • A person that knows what engineering firms look for a in a recruitment provider and can speak their language;
  • A candidate that knows the challenges of recruitment in their sector;
  • Someone who is a hunter - a salesperson who thrives on incentives and being able to write your own pay check;
  • A recruiter who has thought sometimes that interviewing candidates is detracting from closing sales and earning and doesn't want to be interviewing any more. Well, hand over those tasks to our experts and they will keep your campaign running while you make the sale;
  • Someone who is good at building relationships and conducting business over the phone – and as a result can prospect nationwide.
