Office Assistant

About the role

As the Office Assistant you will assist with day-to-day general office administration duties to keep the office functioning at its best at all times. In this role you will report to the National Facilities & Administration Manager but will work very closely with the Melbourne Office Coordinator. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Mail distribution, courier bookings and CBD deliveries
  • Ordering catering, stationery and kitchen supplies
  • Lodging and managing facilities issues ensuring the office is free from defects as well as clean and tidy
  • Managing our security system and programming security passes
  • Implementing the record management policy for archiving and file management
  • Assisting Receptionist and Events Manager to organise and prepare for onsite events
  • Meeting room set up and reception relief.

Experience, skills and attributes

As this is a hands on role, to be considered for this position you should possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Professional and polished presentation with excellent verbal, written and computer skills
  • Physically able to assist with room sets ups, internal office moves and CBD deliveries
  • Experience in a customer service role will be highly regarded
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A positive 'can do' attitude to work with a flexible approach.
