Customer Service - Freight Forwarding

About the role:

For our client, a leading Freight Forwarder, we are seeking a passionate and experienced customer service specialist. You will be the company brand ambassador providing exceptional customer services to their clients. To be considered for this role you must have both Freight Forwarding Operations and Customer Service experience. In return you will be supported by a great Manager and team and be recognised for your efforts. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer resolutions
  • Customer queries
  • Liaise with overseas offices / agents / suppliers
  • Prepare customer reports
  • Track & trace
  • Attend client visits when required
  • Customer quotes
  • PO Management
Skills & Experience
  • Lateral thinker with a solutions based mindset
  • Freight Forwarding experience essential
  • Customer services in FF environment
  • Knowledge of EDI Cargowise
  • High level of accuracy
  • High level of dependability & Integrity
  • Some exposure to OOG or over dimensional cargo ideal 
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Great sense of humour
