Your new company
This public sector organisation provides services to a large geographical area around Mackay and Bowen Basin. With a dedication to quality and community engagement, they are well regarded as an employer of choice. Due to growth in their HR service delivery team, there is a current 11 month vacancy for a collaborative Human Resources Advisor.

Your new role

As part of a high performing team servicing your own client group, your duties will be broad and generalist in nature. Your team values innovation and actively promote process evaluation and improvement in the aim to consistently deliver quality HR service to the wider organisation.

You will advise and support your client group on:

  • Industrial Relations;
  • Performance Management;
  • Recruitment & Retention;
  • Renumeration & Benefits
  • Managing Organisational Change

As a trusted advisor, you will be relied upon to assist with dispute resolution and deliver training on contemporary HR best practices relating to WHS, Recruitment & Selection and Performance Management.

What you'll need to succeed
To securing an interview for this role you will need to demonstrate:

  • A track record of providing generalist human resource advise and support to staff and management in a large organisation.
  • An outcomes and client focused approach to solving HR problems.
  • The ability to effectively interact and gain the collaboration of a range of staff and stakeholder.
  • Current and well developed knowledge of HR best practice and relevant awards and employment legislation.
  • The ability to thrive in a busy and time pressures environment with multiple competing priorities.
