We are launching three new exciting new concepts Harvey’s Hot Sandwiches, Ruse Bar and Brasserie and Threefold Pastry which will open in early 2020 as part of the newly built Parramatta Square redevelopment. Located underneath the Square’s first completed office tower – 4 Parramatta Square, our three brands will be among the first to open in the Square’s 6,000 square metre world class public domain and will be amongst some of Sydney’s best hospitality names in the precinct – we’ll be bringing new flavours, experiences and options to Western Sydney.

Harvey’s Hot Sandwiches

Harvey’s Hot Sandwiches is a retro inspired sandwich joint known for its big personality, quality and ‘more is more’ attitude. Our sandwiches are made hot to order, generously filled and pack a punch with hearty, bold flavours.

At Harvey’s, we’re all about optimising the essence of big, hot, tasty, unforgettable sandwiches, a larger than life philosophy and an energetic spirit.

Threefold Pastry

We’ll be bringing uninterrupted indulgence to the West, with a range of sweet and savoury filled croissants, pies, flatbread sandwiches (folds) and great quality coffee at Threefold – the name celebrated by paying homage to the threefold pastry technique in croissant making.

Artisanal but distinctly modern with an open studio feel,  a working bespoke stone top bench, chefs on show and a working pastry shop experience for a glimpse into the world of the pastry making process.

Ruse Bar and Brasserie

Ruse is a space for the people of Parramatta to meet, drink and dine, taking influence from the best of Australia and using the finest produce to deliver a rich sensory dining experience of smells, sights and sounds with the Josper and Basque grills at the heart. The expansive indoor and outdoor 300-seater space comprised of a 150-seat brasserie with a private dining room and wine cellars. Alongside this is an extended main bar area also with inside and outside seating/dining covering an additional 150 seats – with its own kitchen and casual dining offering.

The role

A super exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Group Marketing & Communications Manager to join our exciting, growing company overseeing the launch of three new to market restaurant and QSR brands.

The ideal person has demonstrated experience in similar group hospitality marketing role. Creative, with bundles of positive energy and a desire to be an integral part of a dynamic team, digitally savvy and a social media whizz, with a passion for copy writing and delivering engaging content, driving brand engagement with creativity and business acumen.

You will be responsible for managing and facilitating the implementation of the marketing and communications strategy for Ruse Bar and Brasserie, Harvey’s Hot Sandwiches and Threefold Pastry. You will be a confident communicator and copy writer. We are looking for a positive, can-do person who can juggle several projects at the same time, is efficient and has excellent attention to detail.  This is a broad marketing role encompassing brand, communications, public relations, digital, SEO and social media, content creation, advertising and CRM management.

  • Live and breathe brand, social media and content management
  • Designing and implementing guest interaction, campaign, content and social strategies to drive traffic and create engagement, supporting higher client satisfaction, retention and engagement
  • Consistent messaging, branding, "look and feel", and communication style that will support our overall mission and objectives
  • Measure and optimise content across digital channels to drive business objectives and results
  • Proactively targeting key media to position the restaurants and stores
  • Maintain website branding and content as well as all other channels of communication
  • Monitor and report on group public relations and social media coverage
  • Establish and maintain ongoing relationships and networks with the relevant stakeholders including key media and business organisations

About you

  • Significant experience in marketing including the creation and delivery of activities in line with the brand’s overall strategic direction
  • 5 + years’ experience, in a Hospitality marketing role will be advantageous
  • A degree in Marketing, Communications or similar
  • You have an editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume, and how to create content that appeals to their appetite
  • You understand editorial requirements including SEO principles, content development, distribution and measurement.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Wordpress, email marketing applications and social media advertising platforms.
  • Significant experience in marketing including the creation and delivery of activities in line with the brand’s overall strategic direction.
  • Exceptional time management skills including the ability to adapt to the ever-changing environment and reacting quickly to meet challenges
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to demonstrate initiative and innovative thinking.
  • Experience in creating content and scheduling social media content.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

This is a hands-on and dynamic group role, which requires someone who is well-organised, professional, and passionate about hospitality marketing and driving brand strategy.
