Events Supervisor/Social Media Guru


We are looking for a charismatic and dedicated Events Supervisor to take on the operation of all our events in a newly created position with a possibility of expansion to our other 2 venues.

Reporting to the Venue Manager you will ensure that all functions and events run smoothly and efficiently from start to finish.  You will be responsible for liaising with both the customer, chefs and bar staff to deliver a high quality experience every time.  You will also take on our complete social media and website management for all 3 of our venues.

Duties include:

  • Ensuring all function enquiries are handled in a timely and professional manner
  • Preparation of function quotes and proposals
  • Liaising regularly with the Manager in regards to rostering needs and the Head Chef for menu requirements
  • Room set up and break down
  • Proactively securing new and repeat business
  • Raising client invoices and following up post function feedback
  • Briefing and directing staff who are rostered on for functions
  • Weekly Social Media posts, including photo shoots across all 3 venues, Facebook & Instagram Page Updates & Management

Website Management including design changes and updates

The successful applicant will possess:

  • Proven experience in supervising staff
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Experience in a busy food & beverage environment
  • Proactive hands on approach
  • Current RSA & RCG certificates
  • A friendly, self motivated personality with excellent people skills
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
  • A passion for the hospitality industry with the ability to create a positive and proactive working environment
  • Flexible working hours, with weekends a requirement
  • Excellent standards of personal presentation and grooming
