National Account Manager (Facilities And Asset Management Services)

Due to significant growth in our Corporate Strategic Accounts, we are seeking an experienced National Account Manager to lead the contract for a multi-site corporate manufacturing client.  As the National Account Manager you will be charged with managing the provision of standardised hard and soft services across a large, geographically dispersed portfolio of sites across VIC, NSW and Qld. You will be dedicated to managing the relationship with our valued client and key internal stakeholders, whilst providing consultancy services, expertise and support to streamline, standardise and simplify operational activity. Reporting to the General Manager, you will hold accountability for the overall management of this key account including health and safety, financial and operational performance while fostering strong working relationships with the client.  You will directly lead a dedicated and geographically dispersed facilities management team as well as indirectly oversee the numerous service delivery partners involved in the performance of services.

This role will be responsible for a portfolio of regional VIC and NSW sites and therefore we are seeking applications from candidates who reside in or are willing to regularly travel to Ballarat, Bathurst, Wodonga or Wyong. 

Regular interstate and some international travel will also be required.

About you

To be successful in this role you will require the following:

  • Experience managing a multi-site portfolio with a P&L and budget of $20M or higher annually.
  • Experience managing a large and geographically diverse team.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Previous experience delivering facilities and asset management services in a manufacturing environment.
  • Highly developed understanding of asset management principles and practices as they pertain to a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver on challenging key performance indicators.
  •  Demonstrated track record of delivering cost savings in a manufacturing environment through innovation.
  • Strong understanding of Human Resources and Industrial Relations requirements and demonstrated experience working in a unionised environment.
  • Mechanical or electrical trade background or relevant tertiary qualifications an advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience managing the delivery of hard and soft services in a GMP environment.  
  • Highly developed Microsoft Office skills.
  • Previous experience using a computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Strong understanding of Australian standards and codes of practice as they relate to the delivery of asset management and maintenance services.
  • Highly developed and persuasive communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated experience operating as part of a Global or Regional account management team.
  • Strong understanding of and demonstrated ability to implement robust Governance processes within complex operating environments.
  • Demonstrated experience managing the delivery of food services particularly in a manufacturing or blue collar environment.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully managing the performance of a subcontracted and internal hybrid workforce.
  • Strong record of successfully managing HSE performance within a manufacturing environment.
