Job Title: Acceptance Manager

Location: Melbourne CBD

Position Summary

The role involves the following accountabilities:

  • Overall responsibility for HOP Acceptance within MNIS Governance and Quality Module
  • Manage, monitor and follow up Suppliers wrt HOP Acceptance through all build stages,
  • Internal and external Stakeholder management in all matters relating to ND HOP Acceptance
  • Report HOP Acceptance reviews status and progress.
  • Supports Tech Services, PMO and other Delivery teams in matters relating HOP Acceptance
  • Follow up and execute the contractual acceptance clauses.
  • Prioritize and assign HOP Acceptance team to the tasks and manage team members on a daily basis
  • Update and maintain MNIS Governance and Quality Systems Business rules and documentation of Deliverables

Key Responsibilities

Supplier Management

  • Monitor Supplier HOP Acceptance performance
  • Provide Suppliers with feedback on their performance
  • Be the interface for Suppliers on matters relating HOP Submission and Acceptance
  • Assess and advise on Supplier’s escalations and requests for exemptions
  • Engage with the Project team to assess supplier claims and disputes

Team Development

  • Work closely with the State and National Project Delivery Teams to ensure HOP Acceptance alignment with the terms of Services Contract, ensure it is carried out consistently across internal staff
  • Provide guidance and support to Optus Delivery teams on issues relating to Compliance and HOP Acceptance
  • Provide training to those involved in HOP Acceptance reviews
    • Coordinate and work with the Project team to resolve HOP Acceptance disputes

Financial Management

  • Provide support for Tenders
  • Identify changes to the Acceptance process to ensure adopted into Optus Scope of Works to reduce cost
  • Work with Procurement and Deployment teams to mitigate Compliance Acceptance associated risks

Experience and Qualifications

  • Significant Project management experience in either the Telecommunications or ICT industry equating to at least 10 years of experience
  • Related bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Demonstrated ability and proven record of Supplier / Contractor compliance performance management
  • Comprehensive planning and administration skills.
  • Prior work experience in a Telco Acquisition, Construction and Technical installation / commissioning work
