Better starts and ends with the customer
The Junior Business Development Manager will liaise with business prospects on behalf of Western Union to attract and maintain new clients. You may initially consult with them on their currency requirements, risk profile and payment solutions and progress toward securing sustainable, profitable trading relationships.
You’ll acquire new business customers within various industries to Western Union Business Solutions. You’ll onboard of New to company business clients through consistent direct and indirect self-identified prospecting activities. You’ll account manage new to company clients in unison with internal FX specialist support functions. Meet and exceed revenue and activity targets. We’ll be looking for you to maintain understanding of the FX market, compliance and legislative requirements and broader business/economic landscape to enhance your ability to meet and anticipate client requirements.
You’ll utilise internal relationship teams and relevant management to close sales opportunities. Identify and develop key referral partnerships/ circle of influence relationships with associated organisations, partners and advisors of our prospective clients.
We’ll look for you to developed and execute your personal strategic sales plan to achieve individual and team sales targets.
You’ll need to be ambitious and self-motivated, with a strong desire to grow into a sales role. Your previous studies in a finance related topic and your experience of working in a business environment will help you understand our client offering.
A great entry point into FX new business sales. You’ll be degree level or above preferred or significant professional sales experience. You’ll have strong B2B sales experience selling to trading businesses. FX experience not required!
