BP has been in Australia since 1919 and since then we’ve grown to 1,400 BP-branded service stations, 26 depots and terminals, and Australia’s largest refinery at Kwinana.

We directly employ approximately 5,700 people across Australia in fields such as sales and marketing, science, engineering, information technology, health and safety, and supply chain. Over the past six years we’ve recruited over 75 graduates and more than 100 interns into our business. About the Opportunity

BP’s Midstream business is proud to present an opportunity to lead the people, thinking and mid-term planning development for Australia. You will have the unique opportunity to shape the future of BP Australia’s infrastructure footprint, optimise existing assets and look to the horizon for emerging trends and opportunities. The role gives you a platform to guide the direction of Midstream during a time of uncertain world economics, evolving market landscapes and uncharted territory towards Net Zero. You’ll deliver results through support, development and enablement of your team of eight as well as through your ability to manage stakeholders and peers.

About You

As the right person for this role you will be an experienced people leader in every sense of the word, hold an in-depth understanding of supply chain economics and a track record of capturing business development opportunities in oil supply chains. You will hold a high level of skill in how you manage stakeholders, influence and build long term relationships. You’ll have a blend of soft-skills and the ability to deliver against plan and ambitious objectives.

Prior exposure to Refining, Terminal Operations or Engineering is advantageous but not essential.
