My client is one of Australia’s leading construction companies who specialises in all projects across each key major verticals - Residential, Commercial and Civil. The organisation has skyrocketed to the forefront of their industry having focused their business directly into a sub-niche of their billion-dollar industry consisting of engineered, high-end, high-value projects. The business is clearly in growth mode, therefore, are looking for someone who is going to be able to form an instrumental part of the NSW direct sales team.

This role will work oversee an established team of business development managers who specifically handle the national project builder and trade portfolio, the bulk of their sales comes from the eastern states (QLD, NSW, VIC & SA) so with the head office being in Sydney, They spend 90% of their time in a corporate internal environment, opposed to a road-based role so this position is best suited for someone who has lead an developed a mostly site based sales force.

As well as operationally managing this dynamic team of individuals, you will take a hands-on approach in your role whereby you will work with the team to help them develop as salespeople while also assisting them with their own professional growth. Given the humanised nature of the business, they are very involved with their client base so you'll also be managing relationships at a director level with some of the countries largest builders.

This position is a perfect opportunity to step into a genuine leadership role whereby you'll have full autonomy and work directly under the guidance of the executive team, It also opens up a direct gateway into their executive management team so is a great chance for someone who is currently managing a smaller team or who is ready to take the next step into sales management role.


On offer is a base salary of $110,000 in addition to super and an excellent commission structure which should see you take home north of $150,000 with ease in your first 12 months. The business is big on making sure their staff remain engaged and hungry therefore they actively engage in regular salary reviews and increases, a perfect example of this is someone who joined the business in January has now promoted into a very high-level role with a significant increase in less than 12 months. Please note that while the business are flexible, The nature of this role does not require you to spend a great deal of time on the road, therefore, no car is offered however there is a high chance that you will get one once you've grown the team due to the businesses continuous growth, meaning that this role will grow too.


The ideal candidate for this role will be coming from the building and construction industry and have a strong business to business sales background, Experience leading and running a high performing team or holding a 2IC position is also paramount.
