An excellent opportunity exists for a Property Officer to join a municipality south of Melbourne. Your new role

  • Providing portfolio management to council properties in relation to laneways, sales and acquisition of land, leasing and licensing, arranging plans of subdivision and general property administration
  • Responding to customer queries and providing advice in relation to the property portfolios in an accurate and timely manner
  • Assisting in writing and establishing policies and procedures for the property department
  • Communicating with prospective purchasers, vendors, tenants and community members to ensure the appropriate outcomes are achieved and advice relayed

What you'll need to succeed
  • Tertiary Qualification in Property Management or equivalent
  • Previous experience within local government (preferred but not necessary)
  • Strong written skills and the ability to develop property policies and new processes with a strategic mind set
  • Current driver’s licence and ability to acquire a National Police Check if successful
