We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our small team who can work independently with minimal direction.
The successful applicant will be able to work flexibly, adapt to changes and apply sound judgement to their decision making processes.
You will need excellent communications skills, both verbal and written. You will be required to liaise with a range of stakeholders to understand the requirement, prioritise and organise works to maintain the facility and then manage them through to completion.

You will learn about torpedo and explosive ordnance maintenance and testing. There will likely be other interesting and unique opportunities to further your expertise in estate and infrastructure managing and planning.
You will receive on-the-job training and access to courses and conferences to further develop your knowledge and skills. This will include formal training as a Unit Security Officer.
You will need to be able to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting 1 security classification.
The Facility maintains and functionally tests torpedos for the Royal Australian Navy. You will be responsible for managing requests to rectify all facility issues as well as maintaining an oversight of all scheduled maintenance to facility equipment.
You will be required to liaise directly with workers to ensure accurate and timely advice is given on all Facility issues. You will be the point of contact and escort for all contractors to the Facility. You will be required to promote a strong security culture and maintain high standards of security awareness within the workplace.
A significant amount of autonomy is required, you will need to manage and prioritise your workload. You will build strong relationships with workers and contractors to ensure all priorities are met.
