Lead the conversation as part of the overall Corporate Affairs Strategy to enhance Pfizer's reputation as global healthcare leader. This will be achieved firstly by leading, developing and executing Pfizer's Corporate communications strategy. The role also involves the strategic management of Pfizer's external media issues to proactively enhance reputation and involve building key external relationships with journalists. This role also leads Pfizer's digital communications strategy to "win the digital race" in Pharma.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Lead: Internal Corporate Communications
Lead, develop and deliver Australia-wide internal communications in alignment with the Australian Leadership Network, the Director of Corporate Affairs and Global Communications.
Lead, develop and execute the internal communications strategy across Pfizer Australia, consulting with the ANZ LN and key internal stakeholders
Provide counsel and one central point of contact to Country Manager and ANZLN to communicate our business strategy and cultural values
Drive employee engagement working with key stakeholders in HR and the Business
Develop and lead the Country Manager's profiling campaign internally and externally
Plan, create and execute internal events calendar, including quarterly Town halls and Senior Leader Visits
Lead and execute the Barrack Place Corporate Affairs Engagement Strategy
Identify and develop new internal communications channels
Support External Corporate Communications
Manage and execute external corporate communications for Pfizer Australia
Protect Pfizer's reputation on key external media issues
Proactively shape the environment on key policy issues and pipeline initiatives through strategic communication channels
Build strategic relationships with key journalists to enhance Pfizer's reputation and get ahead of key issues
Manage and maintain Australian corporate communications assets, particularly the Australia corporate website and We are Pfizer communication suite
Collaborate with Pfizer Regional and Global Corporate Affairs colleagues to ensure local issues and initiatives are known and understood and are informed by and appropriately aligned with Global policies.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Communications or Journalism bachelor degree minimum. Health Qualifications favourable.
Experienced and committed communications professional, with a minimum 7 years professional experience.
Experience in communications strategy leadership and execution.
Proven track record as a leading cross functional teams, able to work seamlessly across multiple teams in a collaborative fashion.
Ability to prioritise multiple projects to the satisfaction of internal clients.
Strong experience in journalism, public relations, corporate affairs or corporate communication.
Excellent abilities in content development and delivery.
Track record in effective employee communication
Experience within the pharmaceutical, medical devices or affiliated industry preferred
