We have a clear vision here at Westpac - to be one of the world's great service companies. The Westpac Institutional Bank (WIB) helps us realise that vision both here in Australia and overseas - and as part of our Customer Lifecycle Team, you'll have your own important role to play too.
CLM is managed through its Central Hub in Sydney utilising a 24 hour follow the sun model. In addition, there are teams based within each branch (New York, London, Singapore, Hong Kong and China) which have functional alignment to CLM. The CLM Offboarding Team is responsible for protecting Westpac's business, regulatory and reputational interests through the timely and successful offboarding of clients.
The position will help lead the development of the target state Risks and Controls documentation for WIB/CLM in relation to all end-to-end institutional client onboarding business process and data/document management across KYC/AML, CRS, OTC Regulations, Business Conduct and Privacy.
You will need to be able to articulate the risks which are inherent in these process flows and be able to identify controls which are appropriate for mitigating risks (both existing and new controls) and controls which deal to relevant obligations,
documenting the end-to-end process flows in Excel and/or Microsoft Visio formats is something you have done ion the past.

What do I need
You bring previous operational risk experience in a consulting / audit firm with financial services experience along with Relevant industry qualifications (risk, or business-related)
You'll need to be a great communicator - and just as well-versed in managing a whole number of stakeholders towards the one decision (the right one). A team player and a decisive thinker, you'll work collaboratively to achieve the best possible outcomes for our customers. And you'll have a drive to succeed that'll help you tackle even the most challenging tasks with an open mind and energy.
