Your role

Day to day you will undertake complex requirements gathering through liaising with multiple stakeholders. As a senior business analyst, you will help lead the group's appetite to transform a number of legacy processes within Payments Service Utility Operations.

Exposure to payments related technologies would be beneficial; however, a critical element of this role will be supporting the redesign of our delivery approach across the payments business unit. Facilitating the production of user stories, operating model design, management of production issues and process optimisation will be key focusses day to day.

A key challenge will be balancing the above appetite for introducing new technologies with the groups risk exposure. You will possess a passion for working across a wide variety of stakeholders as well as understanding the complexity of a fast-paced area within tech.

Your team

Our payments services utility provides core IT services across all our key group payments platforms. Within this business unit, we have a team dedicated to performance and transformation. This role sits within that team.

Through progressive platform design, innovative thinking and an appetite to utilise the latest tech our payments team are driving radical change across how we provide these products to institutional banking, retail, international and individual customers.

Your responsibilities

  • Ensure technology solutions are aligned with the Group's enterprise architecture
  • Complete and oversee project work stream deliverables including quality control/sign off for area of accountability
  • Work closely with stakeholders and change management to identify impacts to business processes as a result of system or application changes
  • Identify project delivery issues and risks, assist with mitigation strategies, and escalate where necessary
  • Evaluate effectiveness of solution delivery (SDLC) tools, processes and methodologies, and make recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Manage the prioritisation and resolution of Production incidents and change requests coming from PSU Operations teams

Your experience
  • Minimum five years' business analysis or process improvement experience
  • Financial Services Industry Experience
  • Experience working on technology enabled projects
