About the role

This position will provide support and assistance with the set up and organisation during events, performances, sporting events, concerts and other activities of the section and be responsible for provision of customer service and event staging support services. These roles work from a variety of venues and locations with the casual staff assisting in overseeing and supervising the staging of successful events and functions.

About you

The successful candidate will have:

  • Current Queensland “C” class driver’s licence (manual)
  • Demonstrated experience in working as part of a team
  • Demonstrated ability to work automatously and have problem solving abilities
  • Knowledge and experience working in a customer service environment
  • Knowledge of event staging practices and procedures including demonstrated leadership qualities
  • Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety issues, duties and responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Function/event staging service delivery skills
  • To be physically capable of performing manual labour for extended period of times both indoors and outdoors
  • Basic computer literacy is a requirement of this position
  • A basic operational knowledge of simple event technology
