About the role

Under the guidance of the assigned Senior Contracts Manager, Graduate Engineers will:

  • Provide sound technical advice and direction to internal and external stakeholders in their designated areas through knowledge in the development of specifications for relevant contracts and related projects.
  • Provide technical advice and information on condition of assets and asset safety.
  • Provide contract administration and project management support.
  • Determine asset maintenance requirements, defects and interpret intervention levels, and;
  • Conduct audits and inspections as required to provide sound advice and make recommendations on assets.

About you

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical or Environmental Engineering and eligibility to apply for membership with the Institution of Engineers Australia.
  • Demonstrated time management and project analysis skills including the ability to prioritise tasks, assess and negotiate project timeframes and costs.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High standard of proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Current Queensland "C" class driver's licence.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, codes and guidelines applicable to the Engineering profession.
