About the Role Provide an efficient and effective Health Information & Record Management Service at Blue Mountains Hospital by ensuring the health care record is available to facilitate an optimal level of direct and indirect patient care.

Selection Criteria to be addressed:

  • Previous clerical experience including the use of computers, phones, photocopiers, faxes and filing systems.
  • Good understanding of the purpose of patient records in a patient care environment.
  • Good understanding of information privacy and confidentiality.
  • High level oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritise tasks to ensure objectives are met .
  • Proven ability to work as part of an effective team.
