About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Installation Manager to join a leading supplier of both laboratory and medical equipment with over 2,000 customers throughout Australia and New Zealand. Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for Project Management and providing end to end installation services of our products. You will manage all site survey pre-installation, project manage the install, coordinate trades for the install and liaise with the customer.

This role involves frequent and regular statewide travel to customer & supplier sites.

Your Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Project Teams, Builders and Tradespersons involved to effectively run the installation, planning and management of our equipment.
  • Preliminary installation work including make sure CAD drawings are accurate
  • Perform pre-install assessments and modification of equipment
  • Provide technical expertise in systems installation, repair and integration to the Project Team
  • Conduct the end to end installation of equipment process on site

Technically Speaking You Will:

  • Be a current holder of a Restricted Electrical Licence (up to 1000 watts disconnect reconnect for 3 phrase)
  • Biomedical engineering experience/ qualifications will be highly regarded
  • Have equivalent experience such as knowledge of mechanics, electronics, electrical motors or industrial washers/ washing machines
  • Have sound knowledge or experience in Pneumatics, Steam, and Pressure valves – experience with these in a medical setting environment will be highly regarded
  • Skilled in reviewing building plans and liaising with Project Team for the initial phase of the installation.
  • Hold a valid driver’s licence
