We are looking for Intermediate, Senior and Principal and MechanicalProject Engineers

to work on various Mining, Minerals and Metals Studies and Projects

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Adelaideteam as it ramps up for a period of significant growth.  The successful candidates will be joining adynamic team that are experienced in building and maintaining strong customerrelationships through the ability to deliver technically challenging work in alean operating environment. This role presents a great opportunity to gainvaluable experience across key industry sectors as you gain exposure toMinerals & Metals and Infrastructure projects.

 


Project Engineer (withMechanical Background)


Responsibilities will includebut are not limited to:

  • Manage various small projects to ensure that the project commitments and schedule are met or exceeded.
  • Apply your technical skill and experience to scope, understand and evaluate alternatives in line with the above.
  • Assist in the resource planning and project performance audits to ensure the objectives of the department and the company are achieved and sustained.
  • Demonstrate commitment to HSE and contribute to a positive culture that responds proactively to safety and environmental issues.
  • Contributing to projects, defining scope and responsibilities, and working with a team of engineers.
  • Conducting technical reviews of requirements, specifications, designs and other relevant standards as part of defined projects
  • Deliver best practice technical solutions in accordance with project scope, timeframes and standards
  • Develop networks and relationships within teams, across the organisation and with clients


To be considered for this role it is envisaged you willpossess the following attributes:

  • Qualified Mechanical Engineer
  • Base Metals Smelting and Refinery experience highly desirable
  • Strong project experience in the mining and resources sectors
  • Good understanding of state/local government guidelines & state authority standards
  • Demonstrated application of a customer-centric approach to service delivery
  • Experience working in a dynamic consulting and design environment
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team


Mechanical EngineersIntermediate, Senior and Principal


Responsibilities will includebut are not limited to:

  • Supporting Brownfield projects from conception to commissioning
  • Delivery of engineering design services that exceed client expectations
  • Detail design including developing drawings and concept sketches
  • Provide technical support within the discipline team, liaise with the project team and consult with relevant resources as required;
  • Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions and ask for assistance if required.


To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess thefollowing attributes:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (mandatory)
  • Industrial brownfields and site experience preferred.
  • Previous experience across various project phases from concept to detail design in either Mining & Minerals.
  • Demonstrated detail design experience including developing drawings, calculations, datasheets, scopes of work etc.
  • Client relationship management skills.
  • Able to work effectively in teams and collaborate
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to take ownership of work outcomes.
